Iford Manor and Freshford Inn 12th February

Wonderful welcome at Iford Manor, much appreciated by the eleven of us who made the trip out by train and foot via Freshford yesterday.
Meal at the Inn at Freshford washed down with the cider now newly pressed  from Iford apples.

Diana and David have set up an afternoon-evening trip to Iford and the Inn at Freshford. Please email dnembruce@btinternet.com as soon as possible

Train from Redland station at 2.15 pm (change Temple Meads or meet at Temple Meads) for 2.48 train to Avoncliff (£6.85 day return with railcard or 3/4 together ticket)

Stroll over hill to Iford Manor (less strenuous alternative available) and  private access to special walled garden,main gardens and cloister £6.00 a head then stroll onto 

Supper, snack or dinner The Inn at Freshford - A traditional country pub Menu attached to email

Train back to Bristol TM at 8.45pm arriving about 9.30 pm

via Temple Meads 9.29pm to Redland dep 9.37pm arr. 9.47.
